Volleyball

No one really understands me and my strong need for volleyball. Its all i see myself doing in the future. No one understands that. Like how i never got to say goodbye to my best friend lauren before she moved. cause i had a volleyball tournament. they said "oh, just skip it". i cant. i made a commitment to my team. and they need me more then anything. no one really understands how nerve wrecking it is to try out fora volleyball team. i spend pretty much every waking moment practicing for the try outs in november, and let me tell you. im probably more nervous over that then i have been over anything. i mean what if i dont make it, what other options do i have? not many. im so scared, and when i dont make it, i dont know what to do. im so scared. all i see myself doing is playing. playing. and no one can understand that, ive pretty much threw everything away to play. i never get to hang out with my friends. its volleyball, all the time. i love that. but sometimes i miss them. like they dont even understand why i cant skip a tournament just to be with them. its called i signed a contract. i have volleyball more then 3 times a week for more then 2 hours a day, and tournaments EVERY saturday. i will soon hopefully travel and then i might miss four days of school or so. and they just cant understand. i live to play volleyball. its all i ever do, and they just cant understand, my life is so different now. its rediculous. but, im glad.

Ugh

I played volleyball on saturday, again ;] Sand tournament, and took 2nd place. Against EVJ girls ;] i have to say, theyre good competition. The next day, family came! My aunt Julie, and my cousins johnathan and jocelyn. So im swimming and all of a sudden i go into lockdown. My head isnt moving and any movement i make makes my shoulder hurt like a mother! I have a pinched nerve. Ugh. Too much volleyball im guessing, its my serving arm! So i had to miss setters camp ;[ (im a setter and cant goto my own camp and see mikayla!) ;] oh well. But its getting slowly better. I just am very very stiff. UGH. It hurts like you wouldnt imagine! But icy hot works like a charm ;] So yeah......haha. Lucky me. Ill be back on later! Also!! Volleyball, sand on wednesday! better be better by then, we play a 12s team and a 16s team!!! 16 THATS 4 YEARS OLDER THAN US! hopefully we do really good. my family will come and watch! ;] yeah. im excited!!! cant wait!! i love my sand partner!

also, hopefully sometime this summer, we get to go on a vacaction to california, im so looking forward to it! we get to stay on the beach, talk about great photography moments! ;] itll get me up and going, there will be tons of beautiful sunsets to take pics of and sights! were going for a week and to lego land! ;] super excited! i hope we get to, if not, thatd really suck! ;[ but i cant wait till try outs in november. im so excited, theres only one problem, i dont want to go to az sky and not make the cub team. cause i dont play good enough to be on that team, theyre like at a 16 level at 13! theyre monsterous! scary! haha. so im thinking zia 13s or 14s. not so sure yet... ill keep you posted on what i decide. im undecided. but i did make this really cool poster thing on a huge board just of stuff about me and different pics! its really cool. im going to get some of my photgraphy images on there, and ill but some more on here right now ;] here goes nothing.

9 days till summer 09 baby :)

I miss

I miss my life. It ended when volleyball was over. I miss my volleyball filled weekends, tournaments all day on saturday, and sand on sunday. I miss my loud obnoxious team, and how they never gave up. I miss how taylor was always the happiest, i miss how paityn could make me laugh even when i didnt want to, i miss how mikayla was so excited after every point and how rachel laughs. I miss ashas hits, and jeminas calmness, i miss mique. I miss chelseas fierceness, and i miss everything about my team. I miss my one of a kind coaches, who taught me everything i know. I miss my life. I miss the 2 hour long practices on monday and wednesday. I miss the time when after a long day at a tournament i couldnt talk, because i lost my voice. I miss waking up at 5 in the morning and driving out to god knows where. I miss everything. I miss the crazy dances we would all make up, and i miss the times when we were the team to beat. I miss the nicknames and the laughs, the smiles and the sad. I miss the crazy hair. I miss the insane socks. I miss the sleepovers, I miss M&M, i miss AceAceBaby. I miss the fun. I miss the adrenaline rush i used to get after i would score a point. I miss knowing i belonged somewhere and that somewhere wasclub Zia 12-1s, The terminators. I miss them more than anything. There will never be another team the same as this. Cant wait till Novemeber, when try outs strike again.

so tonight i was watching american idol, and kris being safe made me cry happy tears :) i love kris.

seeing allison go home. even talking about it makes me cry. because i know she could have gone sooo far in this competition and won. shes the best. and everyone knows it. iloveallison. not anyone else should win but her. if she makes an album, i will buy each one.

Weekend, sweet weekend!

i love the weekend, last weekend was volleyball filled, shocker huh? My last tournament, regionals. We finished 6th in state, here is an article off the zia homepage.

Terminators Finish 6th in Regionals!

Zia's 12-Terminators finished off a stellar season with a 6th place finish in the Gold Division at the Region tournament held in Buckeye April 18th. These girls worked hard all season and saw their hard work pay huge dividends in being one of the highest finishing 12's teams in Zia's history.

Congratulations to Michele and Madison on a terrific job, and to Hannah, Asha, Chelsea, Hope, Jimena, Mikayla, Miquie, Paityn, Rachel, T and Taylor on a great season and a job well done!

Hahah, well that was my saturday. After the tournament my gerls and i all went to chilis :) and i spent the night at mikaylas. The next day on sunday me and mikayla played a 2on2 sand tournament, teams and the finishing places at tournament

1 day until my life, ends. Club zia 12-1s of 2009. the terminators, no longer exsist after midnight of 4/18/09. im so sad, and excited at the same time. The tournament weve all been waiting for, REGIONALS. i will update you tomorrow, about the accomplishments and sad ending, and now im crying.

Im literally crying in my room right now listening to my ipod.
8 more days until my volleyball is over, until i have to try out next year for 13's with different coaches. Michele and Madison are just to amazing. I love them so much and our team would be nothing if they werent the great coaches that they are. I love them so much. 8 Days till regionals, one of the most exciting and sad days ever. last time i will get to play with my beautiful team. Im going to miss them so much that words cant describe it. At least me and mikayla will be playing sand, and michele is running it. that gives me a chance to see michele, and hopefully they coach 13s next year, cause yeah, woo then i would be on there team :). I love them so much. they can do anything. wow, 8 days, i dont even like thinking about it. OMG. ugh, well im done talking about it. haha, im seriously crying, it makes me so mad that the season has to end, why? i could stay with them forever and never get bored, everyday they have something new. haha. i love them so friggen much :) and i love my team, i never thought we would be in the first division, ever. my team has come such a long way, its incredible, fighting every step of the way to take home the place we deserve (1st)im so happy. its incredible. :) i love volleyball, when all else fails, play volleyball. Its incredible how much i have improved, i feel like im one of the best players on the team. before i tried out, i was so scared. that i would truly suck. and its shocking, because ive changed so much, i used to be so self concious, and now, im cocky. i never would of thought it was possible. but it changed me, it changed me so much. and im so proud of it, i love my life :)

Lol, two years ago this happened at the AVP sand tournament next to the hockey stadium. I went with my best friend Lauren<3>

and im going to cry right now, remembering the good times me an lauren had, when we were inseperatable. I love her so much, and we havent hung out in so long. :( I miss you, and love you :D Your so hilarious, and you moving this summer to holbrook, will kill me :( I miss you already. I am oh so excited for the regionals! :) If you play club volleyball, you would know whnat this means. Last tournament, which is oh so sad. I will cry when the season is over and done with. :( I have 3 weeks until April 18th, the day of sadness and excitement. Regionals. Im planning on actually having sleepover's every weekned, since i havent had one cause volleyball, in what seems a lifetime! :)
But this weekend, i gotsplans!

My sister!

Sedona, red rock jeep tour! March 19, 2009 This would be me, and my sister. Maddison. Shes 8 years old, going on 9, in August. Two years ago she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Ever since then, things have really changed. Nothing has been the same. And i feel so bad for her, everyday, seeing what she has to go through. I couldnt do it. She is so rediculously tougher than me. Im a wuss! :) She really is my hero, having to put up with everything she has to. Sometimes we will get along, but others, arent so pretty. However she feels depends on the day she has, that would really suck. Im so lucky it isnt me. Im well educated on diabetes, and i support maddison. And if i ever find that bully she has, imma take the bully down. ILY maddison. You will always be my little sister. Who is overly obsessed with animals, loves to play vet, wants to be a million different things when she grows up, and has a bright future ahead of her. I cant wait to see the kind of girl she turns out to be. :) She my little sister, and i love her to death!

Before this season of american idol, SEASON 8, i was never really interested in it. But oh man, get 3 amazing people in the season and im on it. My new role model, my new inspiration.

ALLISON IRAHETA!

Whenever i watch her perform, she knocks me off my feet. She gives me chills, i love her so much. She is beautiful and has such an amazing voice. If she doesnt win, she better become her own artist. I seriously completly love her! She really inspires me, and her voice makes you want more Allison. Words seriously cant even describe how excited i get every week just to see her perform. Its incredible, its like the highlight of my day. Watching Allison stand up on tha stage everyweek. I think the judges dont ever have anything bad to say about her! And when she was in the bttom three, i almost cried. BULL CRAP! Allison should never leave, and should be the new American idol :). SHE IS DOPE DAWG! :) -lol, Randy Jackson!

First post :)

I would be hannah, and this is my blog, about volleyball. My life, my friends, and everything. I play volleyball for Club Zia's 12-1's. We are currently at the moment, of March 21st 2009, the 5th best team of the state of arizona, and some parts of New mexico, and colorado. I live in peoria, and i am a 7th grader. My team, are so rediculously amazing, and i love them with all my heart! They are just, i cant even explain it, words dont describe it! :) My Friends, they keep me going everyday, from start to finish, at 6:30 in the morning when i wake up, to 11 or 12 at night when i fall asleep. Music, its my anti-drug. And you will hear me talk alot about all the millions of concerts i go to. Haha, i pretty much live for volleyball, my friends, and concerts. :) School, really means nothing to me. Its not that i dont like it, just that it doesnt hold my interest, which isnt the best. But im trying, and succeding. :) I really love to read, im not a nerd, but reading good books, it holds my interest. Ill talk about some books ive read too. :) So now, you know about me.

Today: March 21st, 2009.
I had a volleyball tournament, 3:00. Not a usual time for our tournaments, but heyy! we are in the first division now! were the top 6th team going into this tournament, and we play at 3:15 sharp, first game, Zia 12-1's VS. EVJ 12-1's. BTW: EVJ means east valley juniors they are another club team, one of the millions of others. First game: Winner, EVJ, Second game: Winner, EVJ. Well, theres a match. Game end. For those of you who dont know, and volleyball match goes 2 games, if one team wins the first game, but the other team wins the other, they are tied, so then they have to play a tie braker to 15, usual games go to 25. not in this case, no need of a tie braker, yeah, they schooled us, and yeah, they were 2 times the size of us, (NOT EXAGERATING) My team, arent the biggest girls around. Haha!

Next game, same day:
Zia 12-1's VS. Shonto Starlings
We have played them before, and when we did, i believe the first games score was like 8-25, winners, us. Same with second game, so yeah, we schooled them there, well, all of a sudden, here comes the shonto starlings, with a wowing 3rd best team in the state. I was shocked! But, gotta give em props. :)

So at the tournament, close first game. Were bummed, because they are a ton of alot better than they were a month ago, PROPS! But obviously, so were we. Second game, we come back and school them, third game, piece of cake. I have to admit, they were a challenge, and i was nervous we wouldnt win, but we did. :) Yayy!

Next game, Same day:
Zia 12-1's VS. Arrowhead 11's-Game for 5th place!
Played them twice before today, first time nailed emm, second time, got nailed. I know what you are thinking, 11 year olds! WOW! But, these are not average 11 year olds, Theyre club arrowhead volleyball playing 11 year olds. totally different! First game: We take them down with a very close and intense game. Second game: The take us down with a very close and intense game. Deffinitly need a tie braker. Game to 15, me as a setter. :) And we go for gold with an intense, but not so close game. :) Fifth best team in the state, here we are!!!

To wrap up the day:

Zia goes into the tournament as 6th best, and moves up to 5th best!
not a big jump, but atleast we move up :)
Just to let you know, my team has never gotten anything lower than 2nd place at a tournament! only twice, and we got 5th, and 3rd. :) So PUT THAT IN YOUR JUICE BOX AND SUCK IT!
